Here’s page 38, for what it’s worth. Yeah, this weekend was really busy, but also, I’ve been sick. I reached a pretty bad point where I wasn’t able to do much, so….I didn’t have much time. Sigh…

Just simple filler material; kind of a doodle, really. It’s been busy lately, so I wasn’t sure what else to do. Incidentally, I’m not sure all three of us have played New Super Mario Bros. together. I don’t think so. It was just a random thought that amused me!

Page 35 is upon us!
Yeah, my GPS is……very weird. It’s not usually a problem, it’s just weird when it suddenly decides you’re not where you are, or that you need to take a different way for absolutely no reason. Sometimes, in order to go its new, spontaneous way, it’ll tell you to…make a U-turn. That’s usually not necessary though, and it’ll correct itself to the way you are going as long as you stay on that path. I’m not sure how common things like this are on other GPS devices, or if it’s just mine.

Hey-hey, it’s the new page of my comic, Incongruous Gears!
Here’s Page 34, which is the same age as….something that’s….34.
Anyway, another short and quick one. There was a report that some deem trustworthy that Khan is indeed the villain in the next Star Trek movie, not yet released as of this writing. That was the main inspiration for this one, as well as the terrible joke within. Honestly, I don’t understand why they’d want to do Khan over, in the second movie again, no less. Is….that the main reason why some fans are clamoring for Khan again? Is it….now to be a new tradition that Khan must be the villain every time Star Trek movies reach a new second entry in a series? Why not do something they’ve never done before at all, as opposed to something they’ve already done? Technology is so much better now that they can do so many things that were not possible when the old series was on TV, and for some of the earlier movies, too. I don’t get it, but I’m not a real Star Trek fan to begin with anyway, so, whatever.

Yeah, Alex has…basically run out of room for more books. They’re not in huge piles on the floor…yet…But there is a tall tower! So yeah, I’d feel kind of guilty about adding more to that pile!
So, this was just a quick and kind of silly one. Also based on real dialogue! It should be obvious, but I did cheat with those book piles. I was just playing around with things to see what would happen and how I could possibly get things to look. It’s all part of learning!

This came from a very amusing idea from Shannon, in which she did pose the question of what would happen in this scenario! There are a few ways I could have gone with this, and I just went with an easier one. I like it. Yeah, when you….think about it…this would be messy. Also….do the..snakes grow back?

So, this came about because Shannon was reading….safety slogans from something she was looking at. I can’t recall the exact context of what she was reading, but we felt that some of the slogans were not very good, so Shannon came up with a few! This is one I remember, and I thought probably the most amusing one. And…that is all!
I decided to take a different approach, for now, anyway, and make some simpler comics, as well as different, smaller panel layouts. One reason for this is so that I can work with my scanner easier, honestly. Sigh…But also, just to keep trying different things, as I set out to do with this comic. Hence, for a change, I have also been inking a few, too! :O

How’s about a little #29?
This is just a few random things that I couldn’t think of what else to do with. That, and I had trouble coming up with a more elaborate idea to begin with, so I thought I’d try a simpler approach. Also, given the difficulties I’m having with my scanner, I thought it would also help to draw smaller, instead of trying to fill out most of the page. The sketchbook these comics are in is a bigger one, which I like because of the space, but it’s the maximum my scanner can work with too, and I think that causes some problems. So….
I also realized that I inked this one without honestly even thinking about it at the time. That’s not a bad thing, no.
And alas, it is true; a recent list and examination of contents rated Entenmann’s devil’s food doughnuts as one of the top 10 worst. Well, it’s easy to see why; they’re so delicious! But I don’t eat them that often, so it’s okay. Still, take THAT Little Debbie; it is also indeed true on this list that those mini doughnuts from Little Debbie are evidently somehow worse! Ha!
